OWNER & CEO | JILLIANLOYDEN (She/Her)

Jillian Loyden founded The Keeper Institute in 2013, towards the end of her professional playing career. She is a former member of  the U.S. Women’s National Team, and Sky Blue FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She played professionally in the Women’s Professional Soccer league (WPS)  for the MagicJack, Chicago Red Stars and St. Louis Athletica. She also spent a season in Australia with the Central Coast Mariners where she was named Goalkeeper of the Year. In the collegiate game Jill was a standout goalkeeper and four-year starter at Division I Villanova University, where she earned Big East Goalkeeper of the Year honors three consecutive seasons as well as NSCAA First-Team All-America her senior year. In 2014 Jill retired from playing professional soccer and began her coaching career as she opened The Keeper Institute headquarters in summer of 2015. Jill was the goalkeeper coach for Sky Blue FC (NWSL) for the 2016 and 2017 seasons, worked with our youth US National Teams as a goalkeeper coach, as well as a color analyst for ESPN. Jill resides in Southern New Jersey where The Keeper Institute is located.

OWNER & CFO | MARIALOYDEN (She/Her)

Maria joined The Keeper Institute staff in fall of 2013 after graduating with a business marketing degree from Rowan University in May 2013. Before ending up at Rowan, Maria attended The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey for two years. In her rookie season she started 22 games, recording 91 saves, notching 7 shutouts, and received 2 NJAC Rookie of the week honors. She led the Ospreys to an NJAC Final and their last NCAA appearance to date. Maria transferred to Rowan University in the spring of 2011 as a Business student. In the 2011 season Dorris started 4 games and recorded 15 saves. She received NJAC Defensive Player Of The Week and ECAC Defensive Player of the Week honors as she led the Profs into the 2011 NCAA tournament. During her senior season in 2012 Dorris started all 18 games, notching 74 saves for 11 shutouts and a save percentage of .881 (21st in NCAA Division III).  She received NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors twice, ECAC Defensive Player of the Week honors twice, and led the Profs to another NCAA tournament. Maria ended her career leading the New Jersey Athletic Conference in shutouts and save percentage, and was chosen to the 2012 NJAC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team. Maria received a masters in business administration degree from Rowan University in May of 2016. In addition to The Keeper Institute Maria is the assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Temple University, and was the goalkeeper coach for Sky Blue FC of the NWSL 2016-2017. As TKI's Chief Financial Officer she is responsible for scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, profit reporting, and payroll.

GK COACH/STRENGTH COACH/ PODCAST HOST | TORICORSARO (She/Her)

Tori Corsaro joins the TKI staff as technical goalkeeper coach. Tori graduated from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. As a member of the women's soccer team Tori was a 4 year starter and helped captain the team her senior season. After graduating in 2016 Tori moved to NJ to train with TKI and pursue a professional career. In 2017 Tori was named to the Sky Blue FC preseason roster and served as a reserve for the 2017 season.  Tori also works with athletes in the area of strength and conditioning to help unlock physical potential. Tori currently works as an assistant coach at St. Joe’s University.

GK COACH/INTERN DIRECTOR/ OUTREACH | CHRISTIANAOGUNSAMI (She/Her)

Coach "Chris" joined the TKI staff after being one of the first mainstay students at TKI. After starting her college career at Vanderbilt, Chris is now finishing her career at Drexel University.  She was named CAA Co-Defender of the Year in her first season in goal for the Dragons.  Set a career record for saves in a single game with 10 against Northeastern…allowed only four goals against in regular season conference play…finished the regular season leading the league in shutouts (9) and save percentage (.871)…also finished at second in the league in goals against average (0.84) and saves (101)...was named to First Team All-CAA for her performance on the season. She was also named the 2016 CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award winner.

GK COACH/ STRENGTH COACH | SHELBYMONEY (She/Her)

Shelby Money joins the TKI staff as a technical goalkeeper coach after being a student at The Keeper Institute for over 4 years. Actually, Shelby was the first ever TKI student! A Vineland High School graduate, Shelby is now a student at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. As a member of the Rowan women's soccer team for the last two seasons, Shelby has helped the profs to two consecutive New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championships (2015 & 2016). This past season she was named the 2016 NJAC Goalkeeper of the year with 12 shutouts and 15 wins.

GK COACH | KAMRYNSTABLEIN (She/Her)

Coach Kam Stablein joined the TKI staff in the summer of 2018 after spending three months interning alongside the TKI team. Kam has been one of TKI’s top students for the past six years, showing commitment and dedication to succeed at the highest levels. Kam is currently the goalkeeper for Temple University, under the coaching of Maria Loyden. Kam embodies the character, knowledge, and passion that it takes to help develop goalkeeper’s potential, helping them reach their next level. We are so excited to have Kam part of the TKI Family, her enthusiasm creates an incredible environment for students to train, learn, and grow in.

GK COACH | KIERANBURNS (He/Him)

Kieran Burns joins the staff in 2020 after his extensive internship at The Keeper Institute in the summer of 2020. Burns is a south Jersey native growing up in Haddon Township. Burns played at Haddon Township High School where he received first team All-State honors. Burns graduated from Rutgers Camden and was part of the Men’s Soccer Team for four years. He started 19 games for the Raptors posting a 13-3-3 record with a 1.02 goals against average, seven shutouts and .794 save percentage.

GK COACH | KYLABURNS (She/Her)

Coach Kyla Burns joined the TKI staff in the summer of 2022 after spending three months interning alongside the TKI team. Kyla has grown tremendously both on and off the field since beginning to work with Coach Maria in the college soccer setting. We are so excited to have Kyla part of the TKI coaching staff, her compassion and patience creates an incredible environment for goalkeepers to develop in.

GK COACH | KATIECAPPELLETTI (She/Her)

Katie Cappelletti joins the staff after her summer 2023 internship at The Keeper Institute. A Syracuse, NY native, Katie went to Jamesville-DeWitt high school where she made four state championship appearances and one state semi-final appearance. She was named MVP in the state championship her junior year, 1st team All CNY and 2nd Team All State her senior year. She currently attends St. Joseph’s University where she’s been a four year starter and two time captain for the Hawks. She was twice named Defensive Player of the Week in the A10, also named to the A10 All Tournament Team her junior year and is currently tied for most career shutouts. Katie is excited to be coaching at TKI - she loves sharing her knowledge of the game with others and the knowledge she’s gained from all the wonderful coaches she’s had over the years.

GK COACH | ANNABELAUSTEN (She/Her)

Coach Annabel Austen joined the TKI staff at the end of summer of 2023 after spending three months interning alongside the TKI team. AB is currently a goalkeeper for the University of Pennsylvania, where she has been mentored by Megan Hinz for two seasons. AB demonstrates high levels of technical and tactical understanding of the game throughout her sessions and is constantly modernizing the approach to goalkeeping. She has an undeniable passion to help mold goalkeepers into their best selves as soccer players and as people. We are so lucky to have Annabel as part of the TKI Family.

SAN DIEGO CAMPUS

GOALKEEPER COACH | KAILENSHERIDAN (She/Her)

Sheridan, 26, joins the TKI team after she was selected by Sky Blue FC as the no. 23 overall pick in the 2017 NWSL College Draft. Kailen trained with Coach Maria and Jillian for the 2017 season at Sky Blue and continues to dedicate her offseason to training at TKI.

Kailen made her debut for the Canada Women’s National Team in March 2016, and she has been a member of their youth program since she was 15-years-old.

Collegiately, Sheridan played for Clemson University, where she received an NSCAA All-America Third Team nod in 2015 while also receiving All-ACC honors after each of her four seasons at Clemson. In the 2018 season, Sheridan set an NWSL Season record of 108 saves.
